What's the deal with "Interstellar"? I mean, it's a movie about a bunch of astronauts traveling through wormholes and using gravity to send messages back in time, and yet my phone can't even get a signal in my own bathroom.

And another thing: Matthew McConaughey. This guy does more whispering in this movie than a librarian on a quiet day. He's in space, for crying out loud! There's no sound in space! Who's he trying to be quiet for? The alien librarians?

Also, the movie is all about trying to save the world by finding a new planet. But the whole time, they're flying around in this spaceship that's cleaner than my apartment. I mean, if they can keep a spaceship that clean, why can't we just clean up Earth?

The Martian (2015)

"The Martian", directed by Ridley Scott is another exciting space exploration movie. Its lead, Matt Damon, gives an outstanding performance as an astronaut who's left behind by his crew on Mars. It's filled with moments of tension, excitement and it beautifully captures the raw beauty and hostility of the Red Planet.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Regarded by many as the ultimate science fiction film, Stanley Kubrick’s "2001: A Space Odyssey" is a must-watch if you love "Interstellar". With its enigmatic narrative and awe-inspiring visuals, it is a cinematic achievement that continues to inspire filmmakers and audiences alike.

Gravity (2013)

If you enjoyed "Interstellar", then "Gravity" should definitely be next on your list. Directed by Alfonso Cuarón, this film provides the same sense of wonder and fear that outer space instills in us. The combination of Sandra Bullock's excellent performance and breathtaking cinematography makes it a treat to watch.

Contact (1997):

"Contact" is a fantastic film for fans of "Interstellar". Similar to the latter, it focuses on humanity's first encounter with extraterrestrial life. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, it's a thought-provoking exploration of faith, science, and our place in the universe - all key themes in "Interstellar". The movie boasts a powerful performance from Jodie Foster.

Solaris (1972):

A Andrei Tarkovsky's classic, "Solaris", is a philosophical journey into the unknown. Much like "Interstellar", it is a melange of deep human emotions and complex theories of space and time. This film is sure to leave you pondering long after you've finished watching it.
