What's the deal with "Upgrade," huh? I mean, it's like the classic story of a man and his machine, only the machine is inside the man! And here I thought my relationship with my iPhone was getting too intimate.

So, we've gone from having smart homes to, what, smart bodies now? What's next, smart underwear? "Hey, underwear, could you remind me when I need to change you?" I mean, who's controlling who here?

The film is about contract killers called "loopers" who work for a crime syndicate in the future. They kill victims sent back in time by their employers.
