Suckers (1999)

Rating: 8/10
Runtime 87 minutes

"Suckers" (1999) provides an authentic, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of a car salesman.

This film is far from glamorous and it definitely doesn't sugarcoat anything.

It does not glorify the life of a car salesman.

However, it may inspire a touch of sympathy the next time you find yourself haggling over a small deal.

What's the deal with "Suckers" (1999)? Is it a movie about lollipops? Sounds like a candy convention gone wrong! This film revolves around car salesmen, and I gotta tell you, it's like the filmmakers sat down and said, "You know what people really love? Car salesmen. Let's make a whole movie about that!" It's like making a movie about tax auditors or telemarketers! Who are the good guys here? Who are we supposed to root for? It's a whole film filled with smooth talkers and slick deals. It's like watching a car crash, you can't quite look away, but you're not sure why you're watching in the first place!
